Daniel began playing contact sports at an early age and continued through his college years. As time went by, he started to feel the effects of those playing days in his every day life. After being told he needed surgery to 'fix' the problems, he decided to explore other options. Through various bodywork modalities (Chiropractic, acupuncture, acupressure, structural adjustment, and more) Daniel has successfully reduced his pain and altered his body back to a highly functional level. He knows what chronic pain is like and has decided to dedicate his time and energy to helping others to rid themselves of chronic pain.
Additionally, Daniel has practiced yoga on and off over the years and has become a certified yoga teacher, which he uses to maintain the gains achieved with bodywork, and to strenghthen certain weaker muscles that help create a healthy body. Yoga has also provided Daniel with a deeper understanding of the body and a roadmap to health.
Having grown up on the outskirts of Boston, Daniel's interests are varied and many. He enjoys hiking, swimming, playing music and yoga. He also enjoys culture and travel.
Prior to moving to northern California in 2014, he spent the previous 5 years living in the beautiful Hawaiian Islands where he was fortunate enough to recieve treatment from numerous highly skilled bodyworkers who helped put him back together. Additionally, he was fortunate to be able to attend classes with some of Hawaii's most esteemed yogi's who helped him to deepen his practive and heal his body. Mahalo to all!
Prior to Hawaii, Daniel served in the Peace Corps in Zambia and Guatemala where he worked on agriculture and forestry projects which led him to work for the USDA in Hawaii. He hopes to travel more and help people feel better while doing so!
